LPN Training Program Information

This is an apprenticeship program for employer sponsored nursing assistants, medical assistants, and other patient care professionals. This program offers an innovative delivery model in nursing theory, laboratory, simulation, and clinical.

Upon successful completion of the LPN training program, students are eligible to register for the State of Michigan PN-NCLEX licensing exam. Students may be eligible for various sources of funding through their local MIWorks! agency and through the community college.

To Apply To This Program:
Students must be hired as an LPN apprentice by an approved employer in collaboration with MichiganWorks!

General Education Requirements

  • Anatomy and Physiology I with a B- or higher

    (recommend to complete before start of program)

  • Anatomy and Physiology II with a B- or higher

    (recommend to complete before start of program)

  • English Composition

  • Introduction to Psychology
